End of Life Features

End of Life (EOL) features are those which have been fully removed from the product and are no longer supported. Using these features will result in an error.

Removed Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.x and CentOS Linux 7.x compatibility from the product

Removed Java 8 client application and database compatibility from the product

The MAP PARTITION and UNMAP PARTITION commands have been removed

For newly created tables, partitions are configured using CREATE TABLE PARTITION BY and for existing tables partitions are configured using ALTER TABLE ADD PARTITION.

The association between a storage group and a table or a partition is managed using ALTER TABLE MOVE PARTITION.

Removed support for Rocky Linux 8.6, 8.7, and 8.8
