Cannot Start Transaction Engine (TE) Without a Storage Manager (SM)

An error message such as the following is received: Failed to start process: Cannot start a Transaction Engine without a Storage Manager.

There must be at least one SM running for any TE to start. The SM ensures the durability of the data and by default NuoDB will not allow the database to run in a non-durable mode.

Start at least one SM with which the TE can communicate.
