Optimizer v3

Optimizer v3 evaluates multiple semantically equivalent plans and attempts to find the one which will execute in the fastest time using the least resources.

Optimizer v3 is the default optimizer for NuoDB 6.0 and later.

To change the default optimizer setting for the current connection, use the queryoptimizer Connection Property, or to change the default optimizer setting for the Transaction Engine (TE), use the optimizer-version Database Option.
