To uninstall NuoDB, see the instructions for your platform:

Uninstalling NuoDB on Linux

On Linux, how you uninstall NuoDB depends on how you installed it. Execute the appropriate command:

RedHat Package Manager $ sudo rpm -e nuodb
Debian Package Installer $ sudo dpkg -r nuodb

Note:"dpkg -r nuodb" does an uninstall, but does not remove everything. To perform a complete removal; use "dpkg -P nuodb",

Linux tar file

The Linux tar file has no automated installation or uninstallation. To uninstall NuoDB, you must delete the software:

  1. Search for and kill all NuoDB running processes.
  2. Remove the NuoDB directory. In the following command, $NUODB_HOME indicates the directory into which NuoDB was installed.

    $ rm -rf $NUODB_HOME

Uninstalling NuoDB on Windows

To use a wizard to uninstall NuoDB on Windows:

  1. Navigate to Start | Control Panel | Programs | Uninstall a program.
  2. Select NuoDB from the list of installed programs and click Uninstall/Change.
  3. In the NuoDB Uninstall dialog that appears, click Uninstall.

To use the command line utility to uninstall NuoDB on Windows:

  1. Open a command prompt. For example, select Start | Run, enter cmd and press Enter.

  2. Run the following commands:

    > cd C:\Program Files\NuoDB\

    > uninstall.exe
