Note: For master and node servers RHEL OS version, and additional supporting software requirements, see OpenShift System Requirements.
Note: Based on both in-house testing by NuoDB and testing conducted by Linbit LinStor, Mayadata OpenEBS, and Portworx qualification teams, CNS products have been found to work well with deployments of NuoDB in OpenShift (version 3.9 and higher) and Kubernetes (version 1.10 and higher) environments. NuoDB recommends building fault-tolerance into the database storage tier by configuring NuoDB with two or more Storage Managers (SM) processes to manage redundant copies of the database.
When using CNS, set the vendor's storage class replica count parameter to
1 (if not already the default setting). This ensures that the storage product isn't also creating multiple copies of the storage which would result in poor database storage performance.
