Installing NuoDB on Linux

You can download the free NuoDB Community Edition installation package from the Community Edition Download page. When you are ready to upgrade to the Enterprise Edition, contact NuoDB sales for the Enterprise Edition installation package.

You must have Java JDK or JRE installed. For details of versions supported, see System Requirements.

Caution: Be sure to read Notes on Using Transparent Huge Pages before you install NuoDB. THP causes a problem for NuoDB memory management and must be disabled.

The default Linux installation directory is /opt/nuodb.
