Nuocmd Commands and Options

The commands, and associated subcommands, documented in this section are available for use with NuoDB Command (nuocmd):

Using NuoDB Command When TLS is Enabled

When TLS has been configured, you must pass the required client key pair and associated Client Authority (CA) certificate for verification. For example, when using NuoDB Command to display the NuoDB domain and database status:

nuocmd --client-key <pem> --verify-server <cert> show domain

So that it is not necessary to pass the required client key and associated Client Authority (CA) certificate with every nuocmd command, set the NUOCMD_CLIENT_KEY and NUOCMD_VERIFY_SERVER environment variables. When using Unique Admin key trust model, set these variables as follows:

export NUOCMD_CLIENT_KEY=/etc/nuodb/keys/nuocmd.pem
export NUOCMD_VERIFY_SERVER=/etc/nuodb/keys/ca.cert
