Monitor Alarms

This is a NuoDB Manager command. See NuoDB Manager. See also Monitor and Monitor Hosts.

Description

Subscribes to alarms that trigger in the domain.

Note: The monitor domain | database | process command will include triggered alarms if the property monitorDomainNew is set to true.

monitor alarms

alarmPretty

See NuoDB Manager Properties.

Note: The property monitorDomainNew has no effect on monitor alarms.

Interactive Example

Currently the monitor command is only supported via the nuodbmgr--command parameter.

Scripting Example

The following shows monitor alarms output with the property alarmPretty set to true (by default):

$ nuodbmgr --broker host --password password--command "monitor alarms"
Nov 3, 2015 9:25:27 AM NodeLeft Alarm [domainleft]:
  Details: Node TE db=[test2] pid=14608 id=3 req=TEs (local)
  Alarm Definition [domainleft]: type=NodeLeft dimension=Domain entity=* (Warning)

The following shows monitor alarms output with the property alarmPretty set to false:

$ nuodbmgr --broker host --password password--command 
     "set property alarmPretty value false; monitor alarms"
Alarm id=43f44ec2-bc6e-472c-87ef-13a8cf3bd6ef entity=[domain] def=[Alarm Definition [domainleft]:
