Meeting SQL Explorer

NuoDB SQL Explorer is a browser-based tool for exploring NuoDB databases. With it, you can interactively list the databases in a domain, browse schema and execute SQL statements.

Click the Admin Center menu icon , which appears in the upper right corner of the Admin Center Home page. In the top row, click SQL Explorer:

As shown in the image below, you might be prompted to enter a domain username and password. If you specified a password during installation then in the User field, enter domain and in the Password field enter the password you entered during installation. If you have forgotten this password then you can obtain it from the NUODB_HOME/etc/ file. In that file, the setting of the domainPassword property is the password you need to enter to sign in to SQL Explorer.

If you already created an administrative user account then you can enter the username and password for that account. See Creating the First Domain Administrator Account for information about creating a domain administrator account.

Note: If you did not already create the SQL QuickStart test database. go to Running the SQL QuickStart and then return here.

In SQL Explorer, on the left side of the screen, expand test | Schemas | HOCKEY to see the tables and data loaded into the HOCKEY schema by the SQL QuickStart. The following image shows some of the content of the TEAMS table:
