When using any call to
ResultSet.getObject(...), an object of the
java.sql.Timestamp class is returned. Be aware that this class represents a UTC time and does not account for the timezone of your connection. If the caller wants to view these in local time then it is responsible for doing the conversion.
This is in contrast to retrieving timestamps using
ResultSet.getString(...), or NuoDB SQLNuoDB SQL (nuosql) is a command line tool for exploring NuoDB databases. It enables you to execute SQL statements interactively, run batch scripts, access database metadata information, and perform DBA functions. (
nuosql), which get converted to the connection's timezone. For more information on using
nuosql, see Using NuoDB SQL Command Line.
