Installing a License Using NuoDB Manager

To use the NuoDB Manager command line utility to install a license, specify the apply command in the following format:

$ nuodbmgr --broker hostname --password domain_password --command 
"apply domain license licenseFile path_to_license_file"

hostname Identify a physical host that is running a broker. This can be a resolvable domain name or an IP address, optionally followed by a colon and port number, for example :48004. For more accurate reporting of hosts and processes, it is recommended that you specify a full IP address or domain name, rather than localhost.
domain_password Specify the password associated with the default NuoDB administrator account. This is the domain passwordThis is the password specified at the time of NuoDB installation or in the $NUODB_HOME/etc/default.properties file as the value of the domainPassword property. that is required to add a host to a domain.
path_to_license_file Specify the location of the license file.

To verify the installed license or check for limitations, specify the show command in the following format:

$ nuodbmgr --broker hostname --password domain_password 
--command "show domain license"
