Description of Region distributed Template

In every region, the Region distributed database template starts one storage manager and as many transaction engines as possible. Each host will have at most one SM and one TE. This template can be used with any number of hosts. Typically, when you provision a host you specify the region it is in by setting the region database option.

The Region distributed template is the same as the Multi Host template except that the Region distributed template:
