Creating Schemas Using SQL Explorer

To create a schema:

  1. In the context tree, select the database that you want the new schema to be in.
  2. In the Database Hierarchy menubar, click (New) | Schema.
  3. In the New Schema dialog, enter the name of the new schema and click OK.

SQL Explorer adds the new schema to the context tree. The new schema automatically contains the SCHEMABOOTSTRAP table.

To delete a schema, you must first delete any tables in it. Once the schema has no tables, you can delete it by selecting it in the context tree then clicking in the menubar.
